Mitski Releases 2 New songs Off Forthcoming ‘The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We’

Ahead of the September 15th release of her 7th album ‘The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We’ (Out via Dead Oceans) Mitski has released 2 brand new singles ‘Star’ and ‘Heaven’ following the release of the lead single ‘Bug Like An Angel’. Paired with the new singles comes the announcement of a handful of of shows in Europe and the UK in October. These intimate, acoustic performances are titled ‘Amateur Mistake’.

‘The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We’ was recorded in Nashivlle’s Bomb Shelter studio with Mitski working again with her longtime producer Patrick Hyland. The pair took the album in a new direction from past releases with the band recording live together in the studio.
