Boston is a massive hub for all kinds of music. The city gave birth to bands like the Pixies, Aerosmith, the Dropkick Murphys and much more. Boston is also home to the Berklee College of Music and it's consistently producing extremely talented up and coming musicians. I’m lucky to call many of them my friends.

DIZ -

Diz (Zack) is a 20 year old artist from the Boston area that has been making music for a few years. He released his first album in October of 2020 titled Black Water, and his first single was released in June of 2020 titled “Honey Buns”. He has released three albums since then. His song “Fair Weather” off of ULTRA.VIOLET (2022) really helped when putting his name on the map. His most recent album release was at the end of 2022 and is titled the way forward is not the way home and includes many great collaborations as well as many strong singles. Diz’s most recent release is a single titled “Father Renaissance" that was released in March of 1023 that features producer berj.

Diz has been playing the saxophone since he was seven years old and always has had an admiration for music, specifically jazz. His mom was the first person to truly get him into music, but while growing up the people around him really developed his interest in music. Zeelooperz, member of the hip hop group Bruiser Brigade, is one of his many influences at the moment. Throughout his music, Diz is able to perfectly blend his saxophone and jazz influences with his rapping and hip-hop style. His goal for his music after school is to hopefully find more fulfillment and develop more of his music. Diz’s music can be found anywhere you stream your music (Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, etc).

He leaves you with this: go for a walk.
