LA-based “comfortable house” musician Bad Snacks recently shared her latest single “like u do” this past month. Being the third single from her upcoming EP Home Music that comes out April 19th.

Home Music is a personal sonic journey for the introverted electronic music fan- who would prefer to spend their time with music at home rather than in a packed nightclub. The musician dived into the name of the EP by explaining,

“It started as a joke with my Discord group," she shared of the EP title, "but I just love the concept of comfortable house music. I’ve never been much of a rager — I’m kind of straight edge in that way, and so although I love dance music, I sometimes struggle to connect with aspects of the culture surrounding it.”

Bad Snacks is known for bridging the gap between classical sounds and synthesized influences leading to her genre-bending electronic music. Rich with lofi and dance influences, Bad Snacks’s catalog boasts an expansive landscape featuring lush strings, driving basslines, and hard-hitting grooves.

Bad Snacks seems to be captivating audiences worldwide, her previous single “iiwannabe” being featured in Billboard and NYLON magazine.

Having just played shows at Portland Jazz Fest alongside Sudan Archives, recently opening for LP Giobbi last fall, and with multiple festivals lined up this summer including North Coast and Solshine Reverie on April 8th, Bad Snacks is a musician not to be missed.
