Young The Giant Release ‘Both Sides’ Acoustic EP as They Begin Their US Summer Tour

Young The Giant releases acoustic EP Both Sides.

The critically acclaimed five-piece band Young The Giant kicked off their US and Canada summer tour this past weekend with special guests Milky Chance, TALK, and Rosa Lin. They also recently announced their European tour, which they will embark on in October.

In anticipation of their tour, the band released a four-song EP where the band produced acoustic versions of their hits titled Both Sides. The EP includes their song “Dancing In The Rain,” an acoustic and Reflections version of “The Walk Home,” and a cover of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now.” “The Walk Home” was the first of the EP to be released and came out alongside a music video earlier this May.

The release of the EP comes after the recent release of their album American Bollywood which came after years of radio silence from the band in November of 2022. The album was an instant hit, climbing the charts for the band with their lead single “The Walk Home,” which reached the top 15 of the Alternative radio.

The US and Canada leg of the tour runs from now until August, and the band will make stops at iconic venues like Red Rocks in Denver, The Greek Theatre in San Francisco, and Kemba Live! in Columbus. This tour is partnered with REVERB in an effort to tour with a more sustainable environmental footprint.
